This festival officially recognized by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) and offers cash prizes of over 8,600 dollars. There will be over 25 teams competing for points, and their reputations are at stake. At the end of the festival, there will be a donation of pork butts to charity at a local food kitchen.
- The admission to this festival is free, but festival goers to need purchase sample tickets to be able to try this famous barbecue. You can purchase your tickets anytime during 11 am and 12 pm that day. There will also be local restaurants located in booths selling their fare as well.

At around 5 pm the winners will be announced, and you’ll get to see who takes all of the titles.
